Support Groups

At NPL we offer a range of support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS. These groups are very popular as they offer members the chance to have:

• Peer/ Social support - an opportunity to meet other people living with HIV/AIDS, share experiences and meet in a supportive environment
• Culturally and linguistically appropriate emotional support in a safe space
• Information about treatment, health services, pregnancy and parenting, life and career guidance, housing, welfare benefits, legal issues, advocacy and volunteering opportunities
• Opportunity to learn new skills through volunteering and work

Grupo Amigos is a monthly social support group for gay, bisexual and MSM Spanish speakers living with HIV and AIDS.  For more information, please contact Carlos Corredor on 020 8741 1879 or 07725243888.

Maleda is a Horn of African support group for Eritrean and Ethiopian people living with HIV and AIDS.  Members meet on the third Tuesday of the month.  For more information, please contact Bisrat Yigletu on 020 8741 1879.

Muslims in the City is a monthly support group for Muslims living with HIV and AIDS.  The group meets in Hammersmith.  For more information please contact Khaiser Khan on 020 8741 1879 or 07739670597.
