Support & Advice

We provide initial support, advice and referral regarding behavioural changes (within a harm reduction framework) to our target communities.

We also offer advice and support through culturally and linguistically appropriate workshops to women's groups and to those who provide services to women. We address cultural and religious issues, and aim to promote informed choices and access to community specific and generic sexual health services, including GUM clinics.

We are committed to reducing the isolation of HIV positive women and improving their quality of life by providing referral, advice, advocacy and interpreting services on a range of issues such as housing, immigration, health and social benefits and also treatments.

Our work with BME women residents in various housing projects is increasing. Recently, we have been providing a series of sexual health workshops to South East Asian women, particularly to Bangladeshi women in the Brent, Camden and Westminster . More work with South Asian women in Harrow and Camden will be continuing in 2007.

KISS

KISS is a warm and welcoming social group for South Asian and Middle Eastern lesbian and bi-sexual women that meets once a month in central London. It provides a safe, friendly, women-only forum for the discussion of sexuality, sexual behaviour and religious and cultural aspects of sexuality. Women of all ages can meet and make new friends at KISS. If you're too shy to go on your own, a KISS member can come and meet you nearby and take you to the bar on your first visit.
